Alissa McGrory has lived in West Chester for most of her life and has made the choice to raise her family in West Chester. She is a highly respected legal professional with deep roots in her community. She earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of Scranton in 1993 and earned her Juris Doctorate from Temple Law School in 2002.
ABOUT
Alissa began her legal career at Reilly, Janiczek & McDevitt (RJM), a prominent insurance defense firm in Philadelphia, where she gained a reputation for her sharp legal skills and professionalism. In 2004, she and her family returned to West Chester to raise their family, which grew unexpectedly and joyfully with the arrival of quadruplets.

After stepping away from full-time practice to focus on her children, Alissa re-entered the legal field in 2011, joining KLM Attorneys in West Chester. She specializes in the preparation of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), working closely with attorneys and divorce masters daily. Her precision, attention to detail, and collaborative approach have earned her the trust and respect of legal and business professionals throughout the region.

Beyond her legal career, Alissa has always been deeply involved in the community. Currently, she serves on two nonprofit boards, volunteers with her parish, and proudly supports the activities of her now college-aged children. Known for her integrity, work ethic, and dedication to service, Alissa is committed to bringing those attributes to the Clerk of Courts office.

She is running for Clerk of Courts because she believes the office deserves a new perspective, strong organizational leadership, and a commitment to service. Alissa wants to bring balanced representation and fresh ideas to the office along with restoring the level of pride and value once felt by all employees.

Alissa believes the Clerk of Courts is not just an administrative role—it’s the gateway to a fair, efficient court system that serves every citizen with respect. Her experience, her work ethic, and her commitment to this community have prepared Alissa to deliver exactly that to the citizens of Chester County.

She feels humbled and proud to be a part of a slate of Row Office candidates who are committed to bringing back common sense by not spending more money as a government, stopping corruption and cronyism that have infiltrated our local government and putting taxpayers first.
